Do you do this for a living? 

Photography contributes greatly to my quality of life, but my day job (engineering) puts food on the table.  I take photographs in places where I like to spend time, preferably with my family.  I enjoy the interaction with people interested in nature, art and photography at arts and craft shows where I'm a vendor.  And I get great satisfaction from people enjoying and valuing my photography enough to purchase and display it.
